Victims of Flower Branch Apartment Complex Explosion Want Justice
Working with CASA, a community group that advocates for Latino and immigrant people, Bailey & Glasser attorneys and Gupta Wessler are conducting an investigation into the August 10, 2016 natural gas explosion at the Flower Branch Apartments in Silver Spring, Maryland.
“We intend to hold accountable any and all parties who are responsible,” attorney Cary Joshi of Bailey & Glasser’s Washington, D.C., office, stated at a press conference announcing the partnership between CASA and the law firms. “We will also support the efforts of the community to bring about lasting, systemic changes that will ensure that what happened in Flower Branch never happens again.”
The massive explosion killed seven people and displaced at least 80 families from their homes.
“Bailey and Glasser is deeply committed to this case and is proud to represent the Flower Branch community,” said Brian Glasser, who will lead the legal team.
A lawsuit is likely to be filed over the next several weeks.Contact Form »
