Bailey & Glasser secures $2.75 million settlement for woman severely injured in traffic accident

A woman severely injured in a traffic accident — caused by the driver of a tow truck falling asleep and crossing the center line to collide with her head on — will receive $2.75 million from the construction company that employed the driver in a settlement negotiated by Bailey & Glasser attorney Greg Haddad of the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia, office.

The accident occurred shortly after the woman dropped her daughter off at school. The woman was hospitalized for 19 days with severe injuries, including several broken bones and a traumatic brain injury. She required subsequent surgery for her internal injuries and months of physical therapy. She will never work again and will require extensive ongoing medical care.
